The Australian No. 1 and British No. 1 took to Instagram to reveal the news, declaring: “We’ve been keeping a small secret.” Their joint post included a photo of the couple enjoying the sunrise near De Minaur’s hometown of Alicante as Boulter shows off an impressive emerald cut diamond engagement ring.

The news had fellow players, friends and tennis fans alike flooding into the comments to share their congratulations, with Laura Robson declaring it the “best preseason news ever.”
“About damn time,” added Thanasi Kokkinakis, while Marta Kostyuk wrote, “YESSSSS!!! So happy for youuuu” as WTA and ATP stars from Emma Raducanu, Paula Badosa to Roberto Bautista Agut and more joined in.
The pair fueled engagement speculation earlier this week after Boulter posted a photo from the same location with the caption, “Today was a good day.”
