No. 9 Boston University is the 2025 Beanpot champion. The Terriers defeat No. 1 Boston College to win their 32nd Beanpot championship in program history, and their first since 2022.
The Terriers and the Eagles put on a show on Boston’s biggest stage, combining for 88 shots. Boston College opened the scoring with a beauty from Gabe Perreault, but BU owned the game from that point on. The Terriers scored four unanswered goals, and Mikhail Yegorov stopped 43 of 44 shots on their way to the win. Four different goal scorers found the back of the net for BU: McCarthy, C. Hutson, Eiserman and Svoboda.
The Eberly award for the goaltender with the highest SV% was given to Mikhail Yegorov, who stopped 69/71 shots in two starts, good for a .972 SV% in his first Beanpot. Yegorov continues his impressive start to his collegiate career with a statement win over the No. 1 team in the country.
