Want to meet the members of the Grammy-winning rock band Paramore? Your local tennis court might be a good place to start.
While accompanying Taylor Swift on the European leg of her globe-trotting Eras Tour, some of the band’s musicians made a visit to Wimbledon this week, joining Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic and the other players who’ve arrived at the All England Club ahead of the year’s third Grand Slam.
The band fronted by Hayley Williams is accompanying Swift at all 48 dates of her Europe shows in the latest leg of the tour, including this month’s Iga Swiatek-attended show in Liverpool. The lead singer didn’t accompany her bandmates on their visit to SW19, though, which apparently took place this week after the group completed Swift’s three shows at London’s Wembley Stadium.
But Wimblemore, as fans of the band on social media took to cheekily calling the event, was a hit anyway.
“The crossover I didn’t know I needed,” one wrote, as others cheered their “worlds colliding.”
