During their time on court, Alcaraz served a short ball to Butler, who found himself near-diving his way to return the ball successfully. And like any true tennis pro, the Warrior followed his shot into the net, where he was met with a golden overhead opportunity—which he took.
“Doha has been incredible since I’ve been here,” Butler said afterwards. “To let me go out there and live out my dream of playing against Carlos Alcaraz in front of so many people, it’s a blessing.”
