4. Keep Up The Pace, Margaret
Across the MacArthur Causeway from Flamingo Park Tennis Center is an eight-acre, pet-friendly park overlooking Biscayne Bay. Margaret Pace Park has 17 listed facilities on its website, from two public tennis courts to walking trails to picnic areas.
Margaret Pace Park is one of 147 active parks in Miami, and is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. Its tennis courts are free to use, and first-come, first-serve.
As for the Biscayne Bay, it is much more than a stunning backdrop for those backhands. According to Miami-Dade County, this bay holds local, regional, national, and international importance as it houses two aquatic preserves, a critical wildlife area, a national park, and a national marine sanctuary.
